COME & STAY at ALLT Y BELA
A MEDIEVAL FARMHOUSE and COTTAGES
in THE HEART of A HIDDEN MONMOUTHSHIRE VALLEY

Allt y bela is a medieval cruck-framed farmhouse, built between 1420 and 1599, with a Renaissance tower added in the seventeenth century. Carefully repaired by the Spitalfields Trust in the early 2000s, it is now the home of William Collinson and Arne Maynard.

The farmhouse offers bed and breakfast and Little Allt y bela and Cwrt y bela, two adjacent cottages, are self-catering. The house sits at the heart of a quiet valley in the lush hills and valleys of Monmouthshire. It is surrounded by 165 acres of ancient hay meadow, woodland and stream, designated SSSI and among the finest unspoiled countryside in South Wales.
