Little Allt y bela

A ROMANTIC COTTAGE for TWO, BESIDE a STREAM and NATURAL WATERFALL

Little Allt y bela is a cosy, self-catering cottage for two. Romantic and entirely private, nestled in the curve of the stream where a natural waterfall tumbles over the natural bedrock. Every detail has been considered by William: floorboards cut from timber grown on the farm, windows, furniture and bed made by his own hands, the kitchen fitted with an Everhot cooker and everything needed to cook well. A wood burner keeps the cottage warm in any season.

The Cottage: One bedroom. One bathroom (accessed via a separate exterior door). A sitting room with wood burner. A fully fitted kitchen with Everhot cooker. The sound of the waterfall carries through from outside.

The Kitchen: Self-catering, with everything you need for a long, easy stay. We recommend Morris’s Farm Shop in Usk  for provisions. On arrival you will find a welcome of homemade sourdough, jam, fresh milk and, when the season allows, apple juice from Allt y bela’s orchard.

The Stream: Little bela sits in the curve of the stream that winds its way through the landscape down to the garden of Allt y bela. A waterfall can be heard gurgling just below and 165 acres of ancient farmland sit above and around waiting to be explored. Walks begin from the door.
